lyrics
Got no time for second guessing
Got no time for lookin' back
Don't need anybody's blessing
Ain't like all those fools, playin' by the rules
When the night is over he won't realize
Who is real and who is in disguise
He just plays along
Don't know right from wrong
Rolls the dice
He don't need no one's advice
Conquers every heart
Breaks them all apart
And the story ends like you knew it would from the start, oh
Talk of love, he just don't buy it
In the end it's all the same
Heard of trust, but never tried it
Showin' what you hide - a blow to all that pride
Never turn around, stick to your masterplan
Though you can't remember how it all began
He just plays along
Don't know right from wrong
Rolls the dice
He don't need no one's advice
Conquers every heart
Breaks them all apart
And the story ends like you knew it would from the start
It's a cryin' shame
Wonder who's to blame
Don't know how
But someone oughta tell him now
Don't you go ahead
Or you'll end up dead
Some fine advice, but instead
He just plays along
Don't know right from wrong
Rolls the dice
He don't need no one's advice
Conquers every heart
Breaks them all apart
And the story ends like you knew it would
He plays along
Don't know right from wrong
Rolls the dice
He don't need no one's advice
Conquers every heart
Breaks them all apart
And the story ends like you knew it would from the start

I discovered this album when catching up to the always accurate online Mixcloud radio show:
The Jazz Pit
Specifically, episode - 'Yacht Rock Pt. 2' which has "Winners" by Young Gun Sliver Fox open the show.
It immediately got my attention for it's quality in terms of pacing in that as a single it's not to fast but not to slow just the right riddim.
On, listening to that track and the host of The Jazz Pit declaring that the entire album is impressive lead me to purchase it. Your Mother
